Foreign Language Centre employs more than twenty full-time teaching staff and two administrative staff members. Language courses are offered in English, German, Russian, Latin and Spanish. In addition to language courses, the Centre administers language certification examinations and examinations for students participating in the Erasmus exchange programme, and also organises enrolment for fee-paying language courses.

Teachers of the University Language Centre participate in training courses, workshops, conferences and webinars. They organise competitions, including a nationwide competition in English for the medical sciences and a Medical English competition held at the University. They cooperate with other units of the University, such as the Children’s University.
